Flat shoes, lace-up vamp, reversible seams

Shoes suitable for distinguished men and women. Based on archaeological finds in Schleswig and Konstanz. Suitable for depicting the period around 1100–1500 AD.

The lace is on the vamp. The sole is made of vegetable-tanned cowhide leather, approximately 4 mm thick. The upper is approximately 1.8 mm thick and is also vegetable-tanned cowhide.

The shoes are handmade and reversibly stitched using an authentic method.

The shoes have a fairly flat and narrow cut. If you have wider or taller feet, you should order a larger size.

Please note:
The robustness of these reversible shoes may not meet modern requirements. Reversible shoes are quite sensitive to asphalt, cobblestones, and gravel. These floor coverings did not yet exist in the Middle Ages. Therefore, we recommend using real wooden shoes, known as trippen (item no. 3129030100).
