Shoes suitable for distinguished women and men. They are based on archaeological finds in Schleswig and Konstanz. Suitable to represent around 1100-1500 AD

The lacing is on the vamp. The sole is made of vegetable tanned cowhide leather, approximately 4 mm thick. The upper is approximately 1.8 mm thick and is also vegetable tanned cowhide leather.

The shoes are handmade and reversibly sewn using an authentic method.

The shoes have a fairly flat and narrow cut. If you have wider or taller feet, you should order a size larger.

Please note:
The robustness of these reversible shoes may not meet modern requirements. Reversible shoes are quite sensitive to asphalt, cobblestones and gravel. These floor coverings did not yet exist in the Middle Ages. We therefore recommend using real wooden shoes, so-called trippen (item no. 3129030100).
