Mead Quacksalber whisky is a true frontier:
Crafted in the Viking home of Schleswig-Holstein and matured in whisky barrels from the Danish Stauning distillery, it offers aromas of honey, whisky, wood, and light smoke, which combine to create a delicious and unmistakable drink.
Each batch is unmistakable and unique.

Under the motto quacksalber, the wacken brewery produces exquisite and enjoyable tinctures, elixirs, liqueurs, and spirits.

Whisky with quacksalt is produced only in very small, limited batches, naturally and handcrafted. The mead is neither heavily filtered nor pasteurized. Despite the long storage time in the whisky barrel and the already fairly high alcohol content, final fermentation can occur at higher temperatures in the bottle. This is generally not a problem, but it can cause slight foaming and cloudiness. We recommend cold storage and consumption as soon as possible after opening.
