Mead quacksalber whisky is a true frontier:
Crafted in the Viking land of Schleswig-Holstein and matured in whisky barrels from the Danish Stauning distillery, it offers aromas of honey, whisky, wood and light smoke, which combine to create a delicious and unmistakable drink.
Each batch is unmistakable and unique.

Under the motto quacksalber, the wacken brewery produces exquisite and pleasant tinctures, elixirs, liqueurs and spirits.

Whisky with quacksalt is only produced in very small, limited batches in a natural and artisanal way. The mead is not heavily filtered or pasteurised. Despite the long storage in the whisky barrel and the already quite high alcohol content, it may happen that the final fermentation takes place at even higher temperatures in the bottle. This is usually not a problem, but it can lead to slight foaming and slight cloudiness. We recommend cold storage and prompt consumption after opening.
