Note: Shinto wakizashi have a hand-forged T10 carbon steel blade made from bo-hi. The blade is differentially hardened using a traditional clay-cased process.

This samurai sword has a black frame and is fitted with a tsuka-ito made of high-quality black cotton. A finely crafted dragon motif with gold detailing adorns the blackened iron tsuba on both sides. The gorgeous fittings are antiqued, enhancing the aesthetics of the piece. The saya is painted jet black and has a black cotton sageo to protect the sword. The Shinto wakizashi comes with a matching cloth sheath and a Japanese sword care kit.
