Note shinto wakizashi has a hand forged t10 carbon steel blade with bo-hi. the blade was differentially hardened by a traditional process in the clay casing.

This samurai sword has a black frame and is fitted with a tsuka-ito made of high-quality black cotton. A finely crafted dragon motif with gold detailing adorns the blackened iron tsuba on both sides. The magnificent fittings are antiqued, which benefits the aesthetics of the piece. The saya is painted jet black and has a black cotton sageo to protect the sword. The shinto wakizashi comes with a matching cloth scabbard and a Japanese sword care set.
