A matching wakisashi is now available for the already very popular Hanwei Practical Katana (0165191070) and Practical Tanto (0165192254), offering the same quality at an almost unbeatable price-performance ratio. The blades are forged from carbon steel and differentially hardened to a Rockwell hardness of 60 HRC on the front and 40 HRC on the back. The cost savings were achieved primarily through the use of particularly robust fittings. This wakisashi easily withstands even tougher cutting tests.
