Historic wine jug / clay jug, 1 liter

This one-litre wine jug was hand-turned on a potter's wheel, as in the past. It is modelled on historical models with the help of archaeological institutes, monument offices and museums and is made of extremely stable ochre clay fired at 1,200°C.

For hygienic reasons, the rim is glazed. The glaze is not only food-safe, but also free of lead compounds and toxic substitutes. The wine carafe is dishwasher-safe.

German craftsmanship, guaranteed without industrial aid, because that would be neither historic nor authentic!

Please note that the jug is not calibrated and is therefore intended for private use only.
