Historic wine jug / clay jug, 1 liter

This one-liter wine jug was hand-turned on a potter's wheel, as in the past. It was modeled after historical models with the help of archaeological institutes, monument offices, and museums. It is made of extremely stable ochre clay, fired at 1,200°C.

For hygiene reasons, the rim is glazed. The glaze is not only food-safe but also free of lead compounds and toxic substitutes. The wine decanter is dishwasher-safe.

German craftsmanship, guaranteed without industrial aid, because that would be neither historical nor authentic!

Please note that the jug is not calibrated and is therefore intended for private use only.
