Note Paul Chen's Wind and Thunder wakizashi features a blackened iron tsuba with a motif of Raiden , the Japanese god of thunder (also known as Raijin ). The fuchi and kashira are decorated with a Japanese tomoe motif.

The tsuka is real ray skin ( same ) and the black tsuka-ito is made of premium Japanese cotton. The saya is painted deep black and has a black cotton sageo .
