Full Scabbard
DescriptionYou're not a particularly cruel person, but you're not the type to accept defeat easily either. You're willing to train harder and longer than your fellow soldiers and accept nothing less than perfection from yourself.
Your armor and weapons are no exception. The full scabbard at your waist keeps your sword sharp and conveniently at your side, ready to once again demonstrate your skills in battle.
DETAILS
The Epic Armoury Medium Full Scabbard is a long leather scabbard designed to protect your weapon from the elements while keeping it conveniently close. This 28" scabbard will accommodate a weapon up to 2.75" wide. Soft polyester fleece padding has been added to the inside of the loop to protect your weapon while making it easier to remove from the scabbard.
Pair this full-length medium holster with any character you wish to equip by attaching the holster to your belt via the belt straps. One strap is longer than the other, so the holster will sit on the belt at a comfortable angle. Made from vegetable-tanned full-grain leather and a hardened leather tip to prevent damage to your weapon, this holster is designed to maintain its shape and withstand the abuse of a LARP with regular leather care.
This full cover is designed to be used by a right-handed player.
Available in brown and black.

Maintenance
Natural leather products are very durable, but they require regular maintenance with leather care products to stay supple and increase their lifespan. Make sure your leather products stay dry when stored. Let wet leather dry naturally before treating it. If it gets wet and dries frequently, increase the frequency of maintenance.
Cleaning
Clean by removing dirt with a stiff brush, then gently rub leather soap with a clean, damp cloth until the leather looks clean. Remove the soap with a separate damp cloth to clean any soap residue, and then use a dry cloth to wipe away any remaining water from the leather.
Conditioning
You should always condition leather after cleaning it, as the soap will have removed some of its natural oils. Treat the leather with mink oil, olive oil, or beeswax using a clean cloth, gently rubbing a small amount of oil or wax into the leather in circles. Allow the leather to soak in the oil before wiping it with a final clean cloth to remove excess residue.
