Give away the Tunic of the Knights Hospitaller
Coat of arms of the Hospitallers
The Knights of the Order of the Hospital of Saint John of Jerusalem were called Hospitallers (Latin name: Ordo Hospitalis Sancti Johannis Ierosolimitani or Order of the Knights of Saint John of the Hospital of Jerusalem ). This order of knights was founded after the conquest of Jerusalem by the army of the First Crusade in 1099. The knights of this order were also known as Hospitallers. In 1306, after the fall of the Crusader States, the Order moved first to Rhodes and finally to Malta in 1530. This is why this order is now called the Order of Malters.
Many crusaders wore tabs on their armour, often in combination with the matching cloak. Of course, the highlight is the cross, which showed the knight that he was fighting for the liberation of Jerusalem.
Our tunics are very loose cut. No savings were made on materials. The cut and material are made very authentically based on historical models. The cross is on the left above the heart. The tunic has slits at the front and back.
