Cold steel® spike series



Cold Steel® Spike Series Neck Knives are slim, lightweight and extremely robust. These neck knives have razor-sharp blades made of cryo-treated German 4116 stainless steel with a so-called zero-ground sharpness and structured, highly grooved handle scales that are ergonomic and provide a comfortable and secure firm grip.



Integrated protective elements ensure that the index finger and thumb do not slip towards the blade and remain protected, while the deeply structured surface of griv-ex™ offers excellent grip even with cold, wet and slippery hands.



These neck knives are available in four different blade styles (bowie, drop point, tanto, and tokyo). They offer all the strength of a one-piece solid steel construction, but remain lightweight enough to use all day with ease.



For even better storage and security, each neck knife from the Spike collection comes with a Secure-Ex® sheath delivered. The Spikes are extremely lightweight (knife and sheath together weigh approximately 85g!) and can be comfortably worn around the neck all day long. A black ball chain is included as a carrying strap. Thanks to the sheath design, which is compatible with the Tek-Lok® carrying system, the knives can also be worn on the waistband or belt.



4116 stainless steel knife

4116 steel is a fine-grained stainless knife steel. It is often used for pharmaceutical equipment and high-quality kitchen knives. Its balanced carbon-chromium ratio ensures first-class rust protection and high strength. Very fine and extremely sharp cutting edges can be ground. An excellent choice for hunting/outdoor knives and kitchen knives and utensils.
