Cold steel® spike series

The Cold Steel® Spike series neck knives are slim, lightweight, and extremely robust. These neck knives feature razor-sharp blades made of cryo-treated German 4116 stainless steel with a zero-ground sharpening system and structured, highly grooved handle scales that are ergonomically shaped and offer a comfortable, secure, firm grip.

Integrated protective elements ensure that your index finger and thumb do not slip towards the blade and remain protected, while the deeply textured surface of griv-ex™ provides excellent grip even with cold, wet, and slippery hands.

These neck knives are available in four different blade styles (bowie, drop point, tanto, and Tokyo). They offer all the strength of a solid, one-piece steel construction, yet remain lightweight enough for easy all-day use.

For even better storage and security, each neck knife in the Spike collection comes with a Secure-Ex® sheath. The Spikes are extremely lightweight (the knife and sheath together weigh approximately 85 g!) and can be worn comfortably around the neck all day long. A black ball chain is included as a carrying strap. Thanks to the sheath's design, which is compatible with the Tek-Lok® carrying system, the knives can also be worn on the waistband or belt.

4116 stainless steel knife

4116 steel is a fine-grained stainless steel for knives. It is often used for pharmaceutical equipment and high-quality kitchen knives. Its balanced carbon-chromium ratio ensures first-class rust protection and high strength. It can be ground to very fine and extremely sharp cutting edges. An excellent choice for hunting/outdoor knives and kitchen knives and utensils.
