Enjoy Saxon Tent, 4 x 6 m, 425 g/m², Natural

Saxon distributor store, 4 x 6 m, 100% natural cotton, 425 gsm

With its generous dimensions, this robust Saxon tent offers enough space for 3 people and their luggage. Every trader, merchant, juggler or cook can thus sell their goods, store their belongings and even provide shelter for a servant and his wife. The interior height is approximately 3 m and can also be used by tall, stately children who walk upright. By opening one side completely, nothing is hidden from the customer and they are under a canopy, protected from sun and rain. The tent can be set up quickly with 2 or 3 people in just a few steps.

The tent skin is extra strong at 425 g/m 2 and is already impregnated against fungus and rot. All accessories such as pegs, cotton ropes and guy ropes are supplied with the market stall. The divisible poles allow compact transport options even in smaller vehicles.

We would like to point out that our tents are hand-sewn products made of pure cotton, which may vary up to 10% from the specified dimensions and weights.

Our tents and tarpaulins are pre-impregnated and therefore water-repellent. To maintain and renew the waterproofing, we recommend regular treatment with a waterproofing spray, e.g. pluvonin. This way you will enjoy your tent for a long time.

Important information about the assembly, operation and care of our historic tents

To ensure that you can enjoy your Viking shop , Roman shop , Saxon shop , knight's shop , medieval shop , dealer's shop or medieval market stall for a long time, the following tips will be of great help to you:

Setting up is relatively easy and can be done quickly and stress-free thanks to the loop system. The length of the poles can be individually adjusted. When setting up, please note that the angle of the roof must be continuous with the cord to the stake and the stake must be aligned with the corner or loop of your tent. Do not pull the ropes too tight , because natural materials such as wood and cotton change with humidity and need room to expand or contract. This way you avoid widening the openings for the poles in the roof so that water can penetrate later. At night, we recommend slightly loosening the ropes, as the humidity increases significantly and there is a chance that too much pressure will be put on the tent. If it rains or is very humid, loosen the ropes a little as well.

When fixing the side wall, it is an advantage to start from the opening side of the tent. If possible, the tent walls should not completely touch the ground (except those with soil). This is also protection against moisture and mould. After use, make sure to dry the tent if it has become damp, otherwise there is a risk of mould formation. You should never wrap wooden poles in plastic film or something similar. Once dry, a cotton cloth is sufficient. Under no circumstances should you use chemicals or other cleaning products to clean your tent. It is best to remove dried dirt with a brush. If you want to store it for a longer period of time, separate all items (pegs, ropes, etc.) from the tent canvas and ideally pack everything separately. Make sure all parts are dry and stored in a dry place.
