Enjoy the Saxon Tent, 4 x 2.5 m, 425 g/m², Natural
Saxon dealer tent, 4 x 2.5 m, 100% natural cotton, 425 g/m2
The sturdy and practical Saxon dealer's tent offers enough space for the small trader, merchant, juggler, or cook to offer their goods for sale, store their belongings, and even provide shelter for a servant or wife. With a generous height of 2.30 m, even tall children can stand upright. By opening one side completely, nothing is hidden from the customer, and they are under a canopy, protected from sun and rain. Two people can quickly set it up in just a few steps.
The tent's extra-strong 425 g/ m² fabric is already impregnated against mold and rot. All accessories, such as pegs, cotton ropes, and guy lines, are supplied with the market stall. The split poles allow for compact transport options, even in smaller vehicles.
Please note that our tents are hand-sewn and made of pure cotton, and may vary by up to 10% from the specified dimensions and weights.
Our tents and camping tarps are pre-impregnated and therefore water-repellent. To maintain and renew the waterproofing, we recommend regular treatment with a waterproofing spray, such as Pluvonin. This way, you'll enjoy your tent for a long time.

Important information about the assembly, operation, and care of our historic tents
To ensure you can enjoy your Viking tent, Roman tent , Saxon tent , knight's tent , medieval tent , merchant's tent or medieval market stall for a long time, the following tips are helpful:
Setup is relatively easy and can be done quickly and stress-free thanks to the loop system. The length of the poles can be adjusted individually. When setting up, keep in mind that the angle of the roof must be continuous with the cord to the stake, and the stake must be aligned with the corner or loop of your tent. Do not overtighten the guy lines , because natural materials such as wood and cotton change with humidity and need space to expand or contract. This way, you can prevent enlarging the pole openings in the roof and allowing water to penetrate later. At night, we recommend loosening the guy lines slightly, as humidity increases significantly, and there is a chance of putting too much pressure on the tent. If it rains or is very humid, loosen the guy lines a little as well.
When attaching the sidewall, it's a good idea to start on the side where the tent opens. If possible, the tent walls should not completely touch the ground (except for those with soil). This also protects against moisture and mold. After use, be sure to dry the tent if it has become damp; otherwise, there's a risk of mold growth. Never wrap wooden poles in plastic wrap or similar. Once dry, simply wipe them with a cotton cloth. Under no circumstances should you use chemicals or other cleaning products to clean your tent. It's best to remove dried dirt with a brush. If you plan to store it for a longer period, separate all components (pegs, ropes, etc.) from the tent fabric and, ideally, pack everything separately. Make sure all parts are dry and stored in a dry place.
