Roman troop tent, natural color
Whether ancient, medieval, modern or western, this military tent fits in with every era. It can be used as a group tent, a medical tent, a tent for supplies and goods and much more. With its compact dimensions it offers enough space for several people. The side walls are approx. 60 cm high. There is a wind and dirt trap around the bottom edge. The tent can be opened on both sides. It can be easily closed with the enclosed eyelets and loops. It can be easily set up by three people. The divisible poles also allow it to be transported in smaller vehicles.
The historic tent is impregnated against fungus and rot. The pure cotton fabric is particularly strong and tear-resistant, but remains very affordable and makes this tent an indispensable piece of equipment for medieval markets, military camps or LARP.

The dimensions are approximate and may differ from the delivered product. The tents are handmade, which makes them look as authentic as possible, but it also involves one or two small errors. Cotton is a natural material that behaves differently under different external conditions, i.e. it can contract or stretch very strongly. This means that the supplied iron bars may not immediately fit into the intended openings. The rods may need to be shortened slightly. Do not try to stretch the tent skin too tightly. This increases the risk of tearing or the seams coming open.
Important information about the assembly, handling and care of our historic tents
To ensure that you can enjoy your Viking tent , Roman tent , Saxon tent, knight's tent , medieval tent , merchant's tent or medieval market stall for a long time, the following tips are helpful:
Don't over-tighten the guylines , because natural materials like wood and cotton change with humidity and need room to expand or contract. This way you avoid, for example, widening the openings for the poles in the roof and then allowing water to penetrate. At night, we recommend slightly loosening the guylines, as the humidity increases significantly and there is a chance that too much pressure will be put on your tent. If it's raining or there's a lot of humidity, slightly loosen the guylines.
After use, make sure to dry your tent if it has become damp, otherwise there is a risk of mould. Under no circumstances should you use chemicals or other cleaning products to clean your tent. It is best to remove dried dirt with a brush. If you want to store it for a longer period of time, separate all items (pegs, ropes, etc.) from the tent canvas and it is best to pack everything separately. Make sure all parts are dry and stored in a dry place.
