Treat yourself to the Markward Men's Tent, 5 x 8 m, 425 g/m², Natural

Markward Men's Tent, 5 x 8 m

This square medieval tent offers enough space for any use, whether as a medieval market stall, as a canopy (i.e., sun protection) without side walls, or as a crew tent for around 8 people, including luggage and trash. The surrounding mantilla makes it a real eye-catcher. The tent can be set up and taken down in no time with just a few hands. The high side walls mean you'll have enough height to stand anywhere in the tent you want. This knight's tent is a true all-round talent. Thanks to the two individually removable side tarps, your play area literally remains open on all sides. They can be easily removed or hung up using hooks and eyelets.

The Markward Knight's tent is impregnated against fungus and rot. The 100% cotton tent fabric is extremely tear-resistant and virtually waterproof thanks to its special twill weave design, making this medieval tent ideal for military encampments, medieval markets, or LARP.

Our tents and tarps are pre-impregnated and therefore water-repellent. To maintain and renew the waterproofing, we recommend regular treatment with a waterproofing spray, such as Pluvonin . This way, you can enjoy your tent for a long time.

The tent is delivered complete, i.e. with poles and accessories.

The measurements are all approximate and may vary from the delivered product. The tents are handmade, which makes them look as authentic as possible, but also involves one or two small errors. Cotton is a natural material that behaves differently in different external conditions; that is, it can shrink or stretch very strongly. This means that the supplied iron poles may not fit immediately into the intended openings. The poles may need to be shortened slightly. Do not try to stretch the tent skin very tightly. This increases the risk of tearing or the seams opening.

Important information about the assembly, handling and care of our historic tents:

So that you can enjoy them for a long time in your Viking tent, Roman tent, Saxon tent, knight's tent, medieval tent, merchant's tent, or medieval market stall, the following tips will be very helpful:

Don't overtighten the ropes, because natural materials like wood and cotton change humidity and need space to expand or contract. This prevents, for example, the openings for roof poles from widening and water from penetrating later. At night, we recommend loosening the ropes slightly, as humidity increases significantly and there's a chance of putting too much pressure on your tent. If it's raining or humid, loosen the ropes slightly. After use, be sure to dry the tent if it has become damp; otherwise, there's a risk of mold growth. Under no circumstances should you use chemicals or other cleaning products to clean your tent. It's best to remove dried dirt with a brush. If you plan to store it for a longer period of time, separate all elements (pegs, ropes, etc.) from the tent fabric and, ideally, pack everything separately. Make sure all parts are dry and stored in a dry place.
