Markward Men's Tent, 5 x 8 m

This square medieval tent offers enough space for any use, whether as a medieval market stall, as a canopy, i.e. sun protection. without side walls or as a tent for a crew of approx. 8 people including luggage and litter. The surrounding mantle makes it a real eye-catcher. The tent can be set up and taken down in no time with just a few hands. The high side walls mean that you'll have enough height to stand anywhere in the tent you want. This knight's tent is a real all-rounder. Thanks to the two individually removable side tarps, your playing space literally remains open on all sides. They can be easily removed or hung up using hooks and eyelets.

the markward knight's tent is impregnated against fungus and rot. the 100% cotton tent fabric is extremely tear-resistant and almost waterproof thanks to its special design (twill weave), making this medieval tent an ideal equipment for military camps, medieval markets or larp.

Our tents and tarpaulins are pre-impregnated and therefore water-repellent. To maintain and renew the waterproofing, we recommend regular treatment with a waterproofing spray, for example Pluvonin . This way you can enjoy your tent for a long time.

The tent is delivered complete, i.e. with poles and accessories.

The measurements are all approximate and may vary from the delivered product. The tents are handmade, which makes them look as authentic as possible, but it also involves one or two small errors. Cotton is a natural material that behaves differently under different external conditions, i.e. it can contract or stretch very strongly. This means that the supplied iron bars may not immediately fit into the intended openings. The rods may need to be shortened slightly. Do not try to stretch the tent skin too tightly. This increases the risk of tearing or the seams coming open.

Important information regarding the assembly, handling and care of our historic tents:

To ensure that you can enjoy them for a long time in your Viking shop, Roman shop, Saxon shop, knight's shop, medieval shop, merchant's shop or medieval market stall, the following tips will be of great help to you:

Do not pull the ropes too tight, because natural materials such as wood and cotton change humidity and need space to expand or contract. This prevents, for example, openings for poles in the roof from widening and water being able to penetrate later. In the evening, we recommend slightly loosening the ropes, as the humidity increases significantly and there is a chance that too much pressure will be put on your tent. If it rains or is very humid, slightly loosen the ropes. After use, make sure to dry the tent if it has become damp, otherwise there is a risk of mould formation. Under no circumstances should you use chemicals or other cleaning products to clean your tent. It is best to remove dried dirt with a brush. If you want to store it for a longer period of time, separate all elements (pegs, ropes, etc.) from the tent fabric and ideally pack everything separately. Make sure that all parts are dry and stored in a dry place.
