Gift Burgundy Gentleman's Tent, 5 x 8 m, 425 g/m², Natural Color

Knight's tent burgundy, 5 x 8 m, 425 g/m², natural

The Knight's Tent Burgundy is a functional and stable tent with generous space and an impressive height of 3.50 m. It is easy to set up with 3-4 people. Once the roof is installed, simply secure the two side panels with hooks and eyelets. A surrounding mantilla covers and closes the transition. Without side panels, the medieval tent can also be used as a canopy. The hood offers sufficient protection from sun and rain; it is separate and can be put up or taken down as needed. Inside, there is a dust and dirt collector at the bottom. The entrance is closed with eyelets; otherwise, it simply rolls up. The back can also be opened for a little more air and light. In addition, the iron supports and side poles have a convenient spike at the bottom that allows them to be secured to the ground.

The historic knight's tent is impregnated against fungus and rot. The pure cotton fabric is particularly strong and tear-resistant, yet still very affordable, making this medieval tent an indispensable piece of equipment for medieval markets, military encampments, or LARPs.

Our tent and camping tarps are pre-impregnated and therefore water-repellent. To maintain and renew the waterproofing, we recommend regular treatment with a waterproofing spray, such as Pluvonin . This means you'll be able to enjoy your tent for a long time.

The scope of delivery includes everything necessary for assembly and fixing.

Measurements are approximate and may vary from the delivered product. The tents are handmade, which makes them look as authentic as possible, but also involves one or two small errors. Cotton is a natural material that behaves differently in different external conditions; that is, it can shrink or stretch very strongly. This means that the supplied iron poles may not fit immediately into the intended openings. The poles may need to be shortened slightly. Do not try to stretch the tent skin very tightly. This increases the risk of tearing or the seams opening.

The images in this article show the tent in the 6 x 4 m version.

< strong >Important information about the construction, operation and care of our historic stores:

To ensure you can enjoy your Viking tent, Roman tent, Saxon tent, knight's tent, medieval tent, merchant's tent, or medieval market stall for a long time, the following helpful tips are included:

Don't overtighten the ropes, because natural materials like wood and cotton change with humidity and need room to expand or contract. This way, you can prevent enlarging the pole openings in the roof so that water can penetrate later. At night, we recommend loosening the ropes slightly, as humidity increases significantly and there's a chance of putting too much pressure on the tent. If it's raining or humid, loosen the ropes slightly. After use, be sure to dry the tent if it has become damp; otherwise, there's a risk of mold growth. Under no circumstances should you use chemicals or other cleaning products to clean your tent. It's best to remove dried dirt with a brush. If you plan to store it for a longer period, separate all elements (pegs, ropes, etc.) from the tent fabric and, ideally, pack everything separately. Make sure all parts are dry and stored in a dry place.
