This (coffee) cup, which can be used in a variety of ways, was hand-turned on a potter's wheel, as in the past, is based on historical models with the help of archaeological institutes, monument offices and museums and is made of ochre clay, which is extremely stable when fired at 1,200 °C. For reasons of hygiene, the cup is glazed. Bottle-green glaze was particularly fashionable in the 16th century. The glaze used here is not only food-safe, but also contains no lead compounds or toxic substitutes. The cup is dishwasher-safe.
