The cymbal bell, also kessel hood or bascinet , developed in the early 14th century from the brain hood and was widespread until the 15th century.
The model offered here is available in sizes M and L. It has a chain link made of unriveted, round, spring-steel rings with a thickness of 1.6 mm and an inner diameter of 8 mm, woven in a 4-piece pattern. The link is placed with the leather hem over the eyelets on the edge of the pool cover and secured with a leather cord. The helmet also has a firm, padded insert that can be adjusted to fit the user.
