Tactical Tanto Instructions combine the best attributes of a traditional tanto knife with modern features, making it a very practical tool.

The handle, made of genuine ray skin, the sharp blade with a tempered edge (60 HRC) and the unmistakable hardness line (hamon) are typical tanto elements; the rest bears Paul Chen's special signature.

The knife has a 17cm long carbon steel blade, and the sturdy handle beneath the stingray skin ensures sufficient strength and weight to handle the tanto's pommel effectively. A locking tab (viseclip) provides a secure hold on the powder-coated steel sheath, which is also lined with nylon for quiet use. Two clip positions are provided, allowing the tanto to be carried up or down the handle.
