The Epic Armoury Rugged Tanto is a 55cm LARP dagger inspired by the weapons of feudal Japan. Its 37cm straight blade is single-edged, designed for perfect slashing or piercing. The tanto is designed to be paired with a katana or wakizashi and serves as a backup weapon in close quarters.

This Rugged Tanto is made of soft EVA foam and coated with a thick layer of protective latex. Each dagger is hand-painted and decorated to resemble textured steel and brass without the danger of wielding a real sharp blade. This particular product features a rectangular crossguard protecting the ergonomic 15cm hilt wrapped in leather cord. The pommel is sculpted as a flexible ring, ideal for holding small trophies or ribbons that match your house colors. The leather cord continues around the blade to create a short ricasso.

Special care has been taken to ensure our LARP weapons are safe. This Rugged Tanto is built around a solid fiberglass rod core and a flexible Kevlar tip to prevent punctures. Its latex finish requires some maintenance to maximize its use and comfort.
