With the ever popular training katana (SH1070), wakizashi (SH2061) and tanto (SH2254), martial artists and enthusiasts have the opportunity to acquire a sword from Hanwei with an almost unbeatable price-performance ratio. The blades are forged and hardened using the same process used on much more expensive swords. This creates a Rockwell hardness of 60 HRC on the blade and 40 HRC on the back of the blade. The cost savings were achieved primarily through the use of particularly robust fittings. This tanto can be seen in any training room and can easily withstand even tougher cutting tests.
