The Cold Steels® Talwar is the result of years of experimentation and research. It features a beautifully balanced, hand-forged 1090 carbon steel blade and a carefully decorated solid brass bowl, providing enough room for even a strong hand and a glove.

The Cold Steel® Talwar is simply a serious sword! It comes with a magnificent black leather-wrapped wooden scabbard with brass trim.

1090 carbon steel

1090 carbon steel is an excellent choice for larger fixed blades. It sharpens easily and holds that edge, yet is still tough enough to withstand the most brutal stress tests. In short: a good all-purpose carbon steel that remains very durable even with heavy use.
