The Roman subarmalis - like the medieval gambeson - was worn under armour (e.g. lorica hamata or loricasegmentata).
The subarmalis offered here is made entirely of dyed leather of approximately 2-3 mm thickness. Thanks to the laces on the sides, it can be worn. It can be individually adapted to each user.
