Steambow Series - Heavy Carbon Bowkin Arrows - 6 Piece Set.

The arrows have a high-quality aluminium nock and a carbon/aluminium hybrid shaft, i.e. there is an additional aluminium shaft inside the carbon shaft. This elaborate construction is responsible for the excellent flight characteristics and results in extremely robust arrows.

At almost 15 grams, these arrows are significantly heavier than most pistol crossbow arrows and have a particularly strong momentum when hitting the target. This makes it easier to penetrate hard target media such as sheet metal or glass.

The black-marked Bodkin arrows have a sharp tip made of hardened tool steel and are heavier than our sporting arrows. Due to their greater weight and hard tip, these arrows have enormous penetrating power. Although they are not bladed, these arrows cause significantly more serious wounds than sporting arrows. This, in combination with the ability to penetrate targets particularly well, makes these arrows particularly dangerous. Particular caution is therefore required when handling pointed arrows and improved aiming means are required.

Caution: The sharp edges of the arrowhead literally cut into the target medium, which means that pointed arrows cause much more wear and tear on the target than sporting arrows. These arrows are therefore only recommended to a limited extent for regular training.
