In the style of a Vendel-period spangenhelm, we've developed this fully combat-ready goggle helmet. It's suitable for depicting the period from around 550 AD to the Viking Age (late 1066). The helmet's lid consists of two welded, 1.6 mm-thick sheet metal pieces, reinforced by riveted and overlapping iron bands (clasps).

The goggles , handmade from two sheets of steel, reach well below the wearer's nose. They are also riveted to the helmet.

On it and on the edge of the helmet, the rest of the chain is made of unriveted spring steel rings (inner diameter 8 mm) attached.

The helmet has a very high-quality, riveted, adjustable padded liner along with a sturdy leather chin strap and brass buckle.

It is designed for difficult recreations such as the Battle of the Nations

There are numerous artifacts from the Vendel period, an era preceding the Viking Age. Obtain artifacts, jewelry, weapons, and pieces of armor. The well-known finds of Valsgärde helmets, on which our combat-ready reconstruction is based, are well known.

This helmet model is available in sizes M and L.
