Replica of a typical Viking Age spangenhelm. The helmet has eyebrows above the nose, suggesting Scandinavian origins. This type of helmet was often worn in combination with a chainmail hood.

The helmet has a comfortable leather inlay, is fully lined with leather on the inside and has a buckled chin strap. The very strong and robust nose piece is also padded on the inside with leather.
