A very beautiful replica, fully suited for combat, of a Baldenheim-type spangenhelm. This type of helmet became fashionable in the 5th century and spread throughout the 6th century among all the Germanic tribes and also among the Slavic peoples. It is therefore ideal for representing a Germanic or Slavic warrior of the High Middle Ages.

Our version is specially developed for show combat and is therefore very robust, made of 2 mm thick steel. The helmet has two steel cheek flaps, lined with leather and lined on the inside. Leather chin straps are attached to the cheek flaps. In addition, the helmet has a breastplate made of unriveted chain mail.

Includes a high quality, riveted, adjustable, padded fabric inlay.
