A very beautiful and fully combat-ready replica of a Baldenheim-type spangenhelm. This type of helmet became fashionable in the 5th century and spread throughout the 6th century among all Germanic tribes and also among Slavic peoples. Therefore, it is ideal for depicting a Germanic or Slavic warrior of the High Middle Ages.

Our version is specially developed for show combat and is therefore very robust, made of 2 mm thick steel. The helmet has two steel cheek flaps, lined with leather and lined inside. Leather chin straps are attached to the cheek flaps. The helmet also features a breastplate made of unriveted chain mail.

Includes a high-quality, adjustable, riveted, padded fabric inlay.
