Pugio Roman Belt Holders, Vindonissa Design, Brass, Pair
Roman Pugio Holder, Brass Belt Adjuster, Vindonissa Design, Set of 2
This Roman dagger holder or suspension is based on finds from the Vindonissa fort (legion camp), now Windisch, Switzerland. The original artifacts, dating from the first half of the 1st century AD, belonged to the cingulum or balteus of a Roman legionary.
This replica of a Roman belt is made of 2 mm thick brass. To attach it to a belt, holes must first be drilled into the belt's movable plate, as it is not pre-drilled.
These brass suspensions are ideal for constructing your own Roman belts and are also ideal as replacement parts for existing legionary belts. Delivery does not include mounting hardware.
An ideal accessory for Roman recreation.
These beautiful belt accessories are sold in pairs.
