Pugio Roman Belt Holders, Tekija Design, Tinned Brass, Pair
Roman pugio holder, tinned brass belt fitting, Tekija design, set of 2
This pre-cut and richly decorated holder for Roman daggers is based on a find from the Flavian period (second half of the 1st century AD). The original artifact, found near Tekija/Tekije in Serbia (part of the Roman province of Pannonia in ancient Rome), belonged to the cingulum or balteus of a Roman legionary.
This authentic replica of a Roman belt is cast in brass and tin-plated. These brass brackets are ideal for constructing your own Roman belts and are also ideal as replacement parts for existing legionary belts, such as our tekija belt (item no. 1616672600). Delivery does not include mounting hardware.
An ideal accessory for Roman recreation.
These beautiful belt accessories are sold in pairs.
