This helmet stand is suitable for three Roman helmets:

- Imperial Gallic 'h' (Augsburg), item number: 1716605301

- Imperial Gallic 'f' (Besançon), item number: 1716631501

The helmet cap is fixed straight (from back to front), as was usual with the optios (sergeants).

Details:

- Total length: 9 cm

- Distance between forks: approx. 1.5 cm

The lower square piece, which fits into the tab riveted to the hull, measures approximately 5-6 mm square. Since almost all hulls are different, reworking (filing, bending, if necessary) should be planned.

Please note:

This helmet cap holder is only suitable for metal-rimmed helmet caps. The same holders are available with a wider holder for wooden helmet caps.
