Wooden helmet cap holder, transverse (centurio crista), brass
This helmet cap holder is suitable, for example, for the following three Roman helmets:
- Imperial Gaul 'h' (Augsburg), item number: 1716605301
- Imperial Gallic 'g' (weisenau), item number: 1716605201
- Imperial Gaul 'f' (besançon), item number: 1716631501
The helmet shield is placed transversely (from left to right), as was customary for centurions.
Dimensions:< / strong>
- Total length: approx. 9 cm
- Distance between forks: approx. 2.5 cm
- The square piece below, which sits on the tab riveted to the helmet, measures approximately 5-6mm square.
Since almost all helmets are different, new work should be planned (if necessary, filing, bending).
Attention!
This helmet shell holder is only suitable for helmet shells with a wooden frame. There are the same holders with a smaller holder for metal helmet shells.
