Give Rrr Chain Holder for Helmets, Riveted Round Rings, Di 8mm
Rrr chain braid for helmets, riveted round rings, id 8mm
- Suitable for show combat -
A helmet braid is a chain mail that was attached to a helmet in the Middle Ages as additional protection for the neck and shoulders. The preferred helmet types here were the nasal helmet, but especially the late medieval close-fitting helmet and its variant, the gugel dog.
This ulfberth chain collar has an authentic serrated braided edge and a sewn-on strip of thick cowhide. The customer must attach the helmet attachment holes to these leather strips. For attachment to helmets such as b. hundsgugeln or bascinet.
The rrr chain mesh: This chain mesh is made up of completely round rings with round rivet heads. Each ring is riveted by hand. The braid is 4 in 1. We call this type of braid rrr (English = round ring ing r ring).
