On your way to your usual haunt, you run into a charming lady in an elegant dress. You may be a ruffian, but with your candid smile, you give the lady a tip of your extravagant top hat. She looks flattered, which is a nice distraction... because now you have silver to add to the copper in your pocket.
DETAILS
Epic Armoury's full-grain leather costume top hat is handcrafted and embellished with cotton canvas and a leather band, held in place with glue, giving this interpretation of 19th-century fashion a rugged feel. Stitching around the edges and a stiff crown strengthen this hat's structural stability, so with regular leather care, you can expect the Epic Armoury top hat to last a long time. Use this top hat to make a steampunk statement or add some interest to your kit.
Available in brown and black, and in sizes small, medium/large, and extra-large.

Maintenance
Natural leather products are very durable, but they require regular maintenance with leather care products to stay supple and increase their lifespan. Make sure your leather products stay dry when stored. Let wet leather dry naturally before treating it. If it frequently gets wet and dries, increase the frequency of maintenance.
Cleaning
Clean by removing dirt with a stiff brush, then gently rub leather soap with a clean, damp cloth until the leather looks clean. Remove the soap with a separate damp cloth to clean any soap residue, and then use a dry cloth to wipe away any remaining water from the leather.
Conditioning
You should always condition leather after cleaning it, as the soap will have removed some of its natural oils. Treat the leather with mink oil, olive oil, or beeswax using a clean cloth, gently rubbing a small amount of oil or wax into the leather in circles. Allow the leather to soak in the oil before wiping it with a final clean cloth to remove excess residue.
