Soldier's belt shields
Epic Armoury's Trooper Belt Protectors are two plates designed to protect the thighs. These rolled-edge steel plates hang from your belt to cover the outside of your thighs and slide into place using brown leather loops held securely with rivets. Each plate measures 25 cm long and 21 cm wide, with two 24 cm folded leather loops.
Soldier's arm protection
Epic Armoury's Soldier Arm Guard is a complete set of vambraces, bolsters, and elbow pads. Designed to protect the outside of the entire arm, this handcrafted armor is made of 1mm steel and connected by chrome-plated leather straps and heavy-duty rivets. The elbow pads, also known as couters, protect the elbow joint thanks to their rounded shape and reinforced ridges. The inside of the elbow features a hollowed flange to deflect blows. The half-bolster protects the upper arm, while the forearm is protected by the bracer.
Soldier's leg protection
ic Armoury's Soldier Leg Guard is a pair of greaves, perfect for the LARP character who wants to incorporate historical design cues. The greaves are designed to protect the front of the shins and down to the ankles, and due to the overlapping plate design, they have little impact on mobility. This low-fantasy design is meant to fit a variety of characters and is inspired by historical medieval armor. Its simple shape comes in a variety of sizes and can be easily worn by most people thanks to its design. Four leather straps wrapped around the back of the thigh and lower leg with additional lacing that connects to your gambeson ensure that the Soldier Leg Guard will stay on, no matter what.
Soldier Gorget
The Epic Armoury Soldier's Gorget is designed to fit around the neck and provide protection to the chest and shoulders. Handcrafted and molded to fit comfortably around the shoulders, this gorget offers the ultimate battlefield protection without being overly ornate. This design provides a practical appearance and can be easily transferred between multiple costumes or adapted to a simple medieval soldier.
Soldier's shoulders
The Epic Armoury Trooper Shoulder is a set of two pauldrons with shoulder pads and shoulder guards. The pauldron is made from a single plate, shaped to provide protection to the upper arm. The large pauldrons are also made from a single plate, curved to fit over the shoulders and overlap the breastplate. This design offers more protection to the otherwise vulnerable armpit. The pauldrons attach with leather straps around the bicep and at the shoulder, tying into a chest and back plate with an adjustable leather shoulder pad. Epic Armoury chest and back plates can be purchased separately and have shoulder mounting hardware.
Soldier's torso
The Epic Armoury Soldier Torso is a handcrafted breastplate and backplate designed to protect the front and back of the torso and abdomen. This low-fantasy design is meant to fit a variety of characters and is inspired by historical medieval armor. Its simple shape comes in a variety of sizes and is easily worn by most people thanks to its curve and ability to layer under the arms. The plate rests on the hips and has small tabs rolled around its edges.
Aruthian Belt
The Aruthian Belt from ic Armoury is a long leather belt made from full-grain buffalo leather. Strong and durable, this belt is also stylish with its crescent moon design and stitched details. With a 70cm belt tongue and 30 holes, adjust this belt to a wide range of sizes to fit your unique body. Secure the belt using its rounded brass buckle.

Maintenance
Epic Armory Metal Works products should be treated with acid-free wax or quality vegetable oil and kept in a dry place. Metal armor containing leather components requires separate leather care. Read the "Leather Straps and Accessories" section below for information on cleaning and maintaining leather with leather care products.
Degrease and prepare your armor for use
When you open your armor, you may be overwhelmed by the smell of grease and oil. The oil has been applied to protect your armor during storage and transport. Use a degreasing product or mineral spirits and a dry cloth or paper towels to remove all the oil from the plate armor pieces. It's a little more difficult to remove all the oil from chain mail links, but it can be done the same way. Wipe off as much as you can with a dry cloth, and with the remaining oil, you can degrease the chain mail with mineral spirits or another solvent by spraying it on the links. You can also choose to completely submerge your chain mail in a degreasing product and use your hands to agitate the metal in the solution; this will completely remove all the oil and grease from your links. After removing the oil, be sure to dry the armor thoroughly. Bright, warm sunlight is excellent for drying your armor, but you can also use a hair dryer or heat gun to speed up the process. Be careful not to overheat any piece of leather when using a heat gun.
Cleaning
Moisture is the enemy of armor and chain mail. If your armor gets wet, it's important to dry it thoroughly as soon as possible. After handling, use, or after six months of storage or display, all metal should be wiped with a clean cloth. Lightly oil the cleaned surface with a quality, acid-free vegetable oil. Alternatively, you can apply a coat of wax to the entire surface of the exposed metal. Let the wax dry for a couple of hours, then lightly buff it with a soft cloth.
Prevention and elimination of rust
Store your armor in a dry place and check it every two months for signs of rust. If you find any, remove it by gently rubbing the affected area with a mildly abrasive pad moistened with wax or quality acid-free vegetable oil. Epic Dark products are specially treated to resist rust, but should still be treated with oil and stored in a dry place.
Leather belts and accessories
Clean them by removing dirt with a stiff brush, then gently scrub with leather soap and a clean, damp cloth until the leather appears clean. Remove the soap with a separate damp cloth to clean any soap residue, and then use a dry cloth to wipe away any remaining water from the leather.
You should always condition leather after cleaning it, as the soap will have removed some of its natural oils. Treat the leather with mink oil, olive oil, or beeswax using a clean cloth, gently rubbing a small amount of oil or wax into the leather in circles. Allow the leather to soak in the oil before wiping it with a final clean cloth to remove excess residue.
