Get Skramasax, Carbon Steel Saxophone with Wooden/Bone Handle
Skramasax / sax with carbon steel blade and wooden/bone handle
This broken back seax knife has a sharp carbon steel blade. Towards the blade, the wooden handle ends with a bone overlay and a brass ferrule. The handle cap with a handy lanyard hole is also made of brass.
The beautiful leather sheath is richly decorated with brass fittings. Thanks to two leather loops attached to brass rings, the sax can be worn horizontally on the belt in typical Viking style.
This skramasax is designed as a collector's item or decorative object.
Details:
- Blade material: carbon steel, sharp edge
- Handle material: wood, animal bone, brass
- Total length: approx. 43.5cm
- Blade length: approx. 27 cm
- Weight: approx. 400 g (approx. 600 g with case)
- Leather and brass sheath with carrying handles
The above specifications may vary slightly from copy to copy.
The steel used here is not stainless and may show slight signs of corrosion. We recommend taking care of the blade regularly, for example with Ballistol, a universal oil ideal for preserving steel products.
Since bone and wood are natural products, variations in colour and/or grain are quite normal. Therefore, no two handles of this Viking sax are the same and the images above are for illustrative purposes only.
