This Skramasax knife, suitable for display combat, has a carbon steel blade with a rounded tip and a striking edge of approx. The blade has the typical fuller width, which serves to reduce weight and balance. The steel blade ends in a strong tang to which the wooden handle plates are riveted. Saxo knives were carried horizontally. The pigskin sheath has two loops of different lengths to prevent the saxo from accidentally falling out of the sheath.
