Replica of a Russian dragoon military shashka, model 1811.

The shashka (Circassian =< i>long knife) is a sabre of Caucasian origin. The Cossacks living there still use this traditional sabre as a standard weapon in their cavalry units.

This replica of the m1811 has a wooden grip and a brass handguard with the typical ring at the end of the guard.

The saber comes with a matching leather-wrapped wooden scabbard with brass fittings.
