The Senshi Erai Hito no Katana by Battleblades is a high quality modern samurai sword with deluxe mounts (koshirae). It features a hand forged, polished and shita-kitae folded 1095 carbon steel blade with wide bo-hi, clay tempered hamon and beautiful chu-kissaki.

The founders of Battleblades Inc. have several decades of experience with Japanese samurai swords. They want to honor Japanese samurai culture with their swords, which is why every detail is designed and manufactured with the utmost care.



The hardwood tsuka is wrapped in dyed ray skin, wrapped with a brown silk ito in katatemaki style and fitted with silver menuki. The tsuba, kashira and fuchi are made of iron and decorated with silver wire.



The sophisticated saya is a true masterpiece. It is made of fine wood, which has been coated with 4 thick layers of black lacquer. Koiguchi, kojiri and kurikata are made of genuine buffalo horn. A piece of stingray skin has been incorporated into its upper end. The brown sageo is made of carefully selected, high-quality silk.
