Treat Yourself to Schnitzel Unu, Carving Knife for Children, Green
Schnitzel unu, carving knife and outdoor knife for children, green
The schnitzel is a children's carving knife/outdoor knife that has it all and doesn't need to hide from adult knives! It's called unu .
Thanks to its non-slip, contoured G-10 handle, it's extremely sturdy and fits incredibly well and, above all, securely in children's hands (approximately 4-10 years old). Three different, eye-catching, and modern handle colors make it easier to spot in nature. Available with green, blue, or orange-red scales.
The schnitzel knife features a full-tang construction made from a single piece of rust-proof stainless steel, which retains its edge and is easily resharpened with a stonewashed finish. To increase safety during use, the tip of the blade is rounded to accommodate children. However, the edge is sharp, because it should be: carving with a sharp blade minimizes the risk of injury because less pressure is required.
The weight and size of the children's schnitzel carving knife are optimized to make it equally comfortable to use for young and old children.
The above are crowned. The knife's features include an ultra-durable, almost forgiving sheath made of Kydex material. It closes around the knife like a glove and ensures secure carrying. The belt loop is removable. Moisture, mud, and cold can't harm it. A paracord lanyard matching the handle completes the set.

Clear rules when carving with children:
Since a knife is a sharp object, clear rules should be established from the beginning. Although our products are perfectly designed for small hands, certain safety precautions should still be observed:
1.) Always carve sitting down, because the rule is: whoever carves, sits down!
2.) Correct posture when carving: For a secure hold, your feet should be firmly planted on the floor when sitting with your legs apart. Your upper body should be slightly leaning forward, and your arms should rest on your thighs.
3.) When carving, you should always maintain a safe distance of two arms' length (approximately one meter) from other people.
4.) Carving with a sharp blade minimizes the risk of injury because less pressure must be applied.
5.) The carving motion should always be away from the body.
6.) After carving, the blade is safely stored in the sheath.
7.) The bark of living trees is taboo.
In principle, carving should always be supervised by an adult. Furthermore, the role model role of parents also applies here: those who don't follow the rules conscientiously run the risk of their child disregarding safety precautions.
