Schnitzel protekto, cut protection gloves for children
We were often asked if we wanted to buy our schnitzel children's knives (unu and < a href =https://www.battlemerchant.com/schnitzel-du-schnitzmesser-fuer-kinder-ab-10-jahre-rot>du) also cannot supply the appropriate cut protection gloves. This presented us with a very special challenge. Of course, these cut protection gloves for children should not only fit us and our carving knives well, but above all they should meet the highest standards of protection and safety for our little outdoor heroes. We have also set ourselves the goal that these gloves should also serve excellently as work and outdoor gloves. It was particularly important to us that the inner surface of the children's gloves had such a grip that for proper use it did not matter whether they were wet or dry.
After more than two years of work and development, we are very pleased to present you the schnitzel cut protection gloves for children protekto , which combine all of the above-mentioned properties.
Our carving gloves for boys and girls get their protective properties from the high-quality materials they are made from.
- The main backing material of the kids work glove is made of 13 gauge hppe liner reinforced with fiberglass, which gives it cut resistance.
- The green non-slip latex coating on the palms of the gloves ensures optimal grip and prevents possible injuries.
- Elastic cuff ensures a comfortable, non-slip hold on the wrist.
- The glove was developed for an optimal fit on children's hands, so it fits perfectly without impairing the user's mobility.

Note:
To determine the correct size, measure the circumference of your hand at its widest point (excluding the thumb).
The hand should be slightly open and the tape measure should be loosely wrapped around the hand.
If you don't have a tape measure handy, you can also use a piece of string or a ruler.
Clear rules when carving with children:
Since a knife is a sharp object, clear rules should be set from the beginning. Although our products are perfectly designed for small hands, certain safety precautions should still be observed:
1.) Always carve while sitting, because the rule is: whoever carves, sits!
2.) Correct posture when carving: For a secure hold, the feet should be firmly planted on the floor when sitting with the legs apart. The upper body is slightly leaning forward and the arms rest on the thighs.
3.) When carving, you should always maintain a safe distance of two arms (about one meter) from other people.
4.) Carving with a sharp blade minimizes the risk of injury because less pressure has to be applied.
5.) The carving motion should always be away from the body.
6.) After carving, the blade is safely stored in the sheath.
7.) The bark of living trees is taboo.
In principle, carving should always be supervised by an adult. In addition, the role model function of parents also applies here: if you do not follow the rules conscientiously, you run the risk of your child not respecting the safety measures.
