Kvin is the name of the new outdoor knife from Schnitzel Germany and is a bit more classic compared to the previous models. The Kvin combines modern and classic elements from the knife world: a modern, dynamic drop-point blade with clip-point elements and a subtle wedge meet a wonderfully contoured, tapered handle made of our popular green-brown Micarta, which is both suitable for the polished, elegant look and comfortable in the hand. Colored G-10 overlays between the handle scales in black or orange underline the overall look. To maintain this look, pins instead of screws were chosen to attach the handle in order to present a simple design.

The 3.5 mm thin and approx. 11.7 cm long blade complies with §42a. It is made from the proven Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel designed for good cutting performance and therefore has a high level of flat grinding. We would therefore like to emphasize that the Kvin, due to its blade geometry, is not intended to be a survival tool that can be mindlessly stuck into wood, but rather a tool for everyday work such as carving, cutting or even preparing food for outdoor adventures. Tasks include, for example, the competent production of firewood.

The Kvin is equipped with a fire-resistant steel, as the back of the blade, like the Special Tri, is additionally sharpened to be able to mark with confidence. Our robust and forgiving Kydex sheath with the popular thumb ramp completes the overall package. The associated hanging bracket for the knife has been improved with additional washers under the screws and sleeve heads and will also be used on our Tri model in the future.

For added stability to optimize the use of the thumb while in operation, a functional dip was added to the back of the blade, which is effective but not too aggressive. and shapes the style of our knives. Another common feature of the Kvin is the lanyard, which is, so to speak, hidden and integrated into the pommel, to which a small leather cord is attached.

The Kvin is offered in two versions, which are simply different, the different colors of the liners differ.
