A fully battle-ready reproduction of the so-called Coventry Schaller , also known as the English Schaller. This form is very similar to the Italian (northern) Schaller types, but differs from its continental cousins ​​in its pointed tip and higher helmet crest. The original dates from 1460 and is still in Coventry and can be seen there at the Herbert Art Gallery and Museum .

Like all visored schallers, this form was also used primarily by English knights and mercenaries. It was also used by men-at-arms , while visorless helmets were predominantly used by archers and crossbowmen. The helmet has a sophisticated lock to secure the visor. The helmet has a very comfortable padded fabric inlay and a sturdy chin strap with buckle.
