Beautiful reconstruction of a typical early medieval short saxophone knife, as they were popular among several Germanic tribes (not only the Saxons). These saxophones were not only used as a weapon, but also served primarily as cutting, chopping and carving knives.

The guard consists of two steel discs that secure the horn plate decorated with two rivets. The handle is made of bone and the pommel is made of steel. By the way, this saxophone knife is also available with a horn handle.

The saxo knife is delivered with the brown leather sheath shown.
