Enjoy Short Sax (Seax) With Bone Handle And Leather Case.
Short sax (Seax) with bone handle
A beautiful reconstruction of a typical early medieval short Sax (Seax) knife, as they were popular among various Germanic tribes (not just the Saxons). These Sax (Seax)s were not only used as weapons, but also served primarily as chopping, mincing, and carving knives.
The guard consists of two steel discs that secure the decorated horn plate with two rivets. The handle is made of bone and the pommel is made of steel. Incidentally, this Sax knife is also available with a horn handle.
The Sax (Seax) knife is delivered with the brown leather sheath shown.
