Carbon Steel Viking Seax – The Northern Heritage in Your Hands
A war knife with history and tradition
This Viking Sax (Seax) features a sharp carbon steel blade inspired by an 11th-century Baltic war knife found in a burial mound in Priekuli-Gugeri, Latvia. Its wooden handle ends on both sides with bone and brass rings, with an oval cross-section that ensures a firm and comfortable grip. The handle cap, made of brass, includes a practical lanyard hole, and a leather strap is included.
Authenticity in every detail
The vegetable tanned leather sheath is decorated with elegant brass fittings and designed to fit horizontally on a belt, in the traditional Viking style. The carrying straps feature stylized animal heads, based on archaeological finds from Björkö/Birka, Sweden, adding a unique historical and aesthetic touch.
