Viking Largo Sax – The Voice of Hugin and Munin

A blade forged in the shadows of the North

Inspired by ancient Scandinavian traditions, this Viking Sax (Seax) long knife evokes the mystique of the Norse lands. Its hand-forged carbon steel blade retains the black forging marks, as if each hammer blow still echoes from an ancient era. The straight, sturdy back, characteristic of the so-called broken back , reveals the strength and functionality of this traditional Viking Age knife.

The symbolic power of the raven

The handle is crafted from genuine bone , carefully polished, and decorated with engravings of Odin's ravens, Hugin and Munin . These mythical figures, messengers of the Father God, soar through the skies of Asgard and Midgard, bringing wisdom and visions of the world. Their names are inscribed in Norse runes , making this piece a symbol of connection between Viking history, mythology, and art.

A sheath worthy of a warrior

It includes a vegetable-tanned leather sheath decorated with hand-engraved Norse motifs and antiqued brass fittings. Two rings allow for easy carrying. On one side, ravens reappear, this time cast in brass and secured with rivets, as eternal emblems of the Viking spirit.
