Whether performing medieval songs from their Swedish home of Dalarna or presenting self-composed material, the Sandén-Nygårds-Carr trio has an energy and originality that has earned them a wave of enthusiasm and attention in Sweden, among others, during their debut performance at the renowned Bingsjö Festival 2011.

Through her solo album, "Courage," and her work as a member of the band "Ranarim," Sofia Sandén has earned a reputation as an internationally renowned singer. Alongside English guitarist Ian Carr, known for the Anglo-Swedish band "Swåp" and his numerous recordings with Kate Rusby and Eddi Reader, and the versatile multi-instrumentalist Anders Nygårds, who has composed extensively for film and theater and is also a violinist. With a doctorate, the charismatic artist offers traditional songs, poems, and stories from the Dalarna region of Sweden.
