These high-quality Roman sandals are based on finds from Castleford (Great Britain) and Valkenburg (Netherlands). Caligae were the marching shoes of Roman soldiers.

The shoes are of top quality and made of vegetable tanned leather. They have the typical Roman 7mm long steel sole nails.

All vegetable tanned leather shoes should be oiled or waxed on the outside before use and as needed to keep the leather supple and prevent cracking.
