Replica of a Russian shashka. The shashka (Circassian = long knife) is a sabre of Caucasian origin.

The Cossacks living there still use this traditional sabre as a standard weapon in their cavalry units. This replica of the Russian shashka has an ornate wooden handle and a brass pommel.

The saber comes with a matching leather-wrapped wooden scabbard with brass fittings.
