Enjoy Hungarian Sable
Hungarian sabre
Due to its location on the world map, Hungary is a country that moves between the cultural influences of the East and the West. This influence is also directly reflected in Hungarian weapons. The Hungarian sabre is primarily a cutting and stabbing weapon, used mainly on horseback, although its use on the ground was not uncommon either.
The blade of the sabre is made of 1055 carbon steel with a high elastic hardening. It has an axe-shaped tip, which means that the blade is wider at the tip than at the crossguard. The sabre's guard is very stable and, thanks to its width, offers more protection for the hand and forearm. Due to its greater width and length, a skilled swordsman can intercept a blow aimed at his hand, wrist or forearm with a small twist of the wrist, as it covers a large area and a minimal movement on the part of the defender is enough to successfully block the path of an incoming blade.
The hardware on the leather sheath is cleverly designed and creates a light, shiny contrast to the black leather.
