This authentic hand-made replica is hand-forged from 1095 carbon steel and fully hardened, combined with original handle and scabbard materials to ensure it is as impressive as the original. It features an ornate, flexible blade and a brass wire-wrapped leather handle. It is just like the old sword of General Jo Shelby, the leader of the Missouri Cavalry who never relinquished his command. The hand-forged blade of this beautiful sword is CSA certified engraved. CS is affixed to the crossguard in excellent detail. The scabbard is blued steel, with brass muzzle, fittings, rings, and handle pull. Beautifully crafted.
