American colonists, like most Europeans, were enamored of the handsome French hussar. The handcrafted handle of this American sabre reflects their admiration for 18th century French style. This fast, well-balanced sword was designed for mounted combatants. A solid steel handle with a spiral-carved wooden grip is mated to an efficient, well-hardened 1085 carbon steel blade. Comes with a black leather scabbard with steel fittings. Delivered factory-sharpened.
