German Parade Sabre with Lion's Head – Prussian Officer's Honor

The lion's roar isn't always born of combat; sometimes, its gaze rests on regality and duty. This saber, a symbol of command and prestige, evokes the solemnity of imperial parades and the dignity of high ranks.

Inspired by the legendary lion's-headed sabers carried by Prussian and German army officers from the 19th century well into the 20th century, this ceremonial saber masterfully captures the spirit of German military tradition. It is not an exact replica of a historical model, but its design pays homage to the weapons that accompanied officers in their dress uniforms during World War II.

The Blade of Silent Honor

Forged from EN45 spring steel , the blade is thin, slightly curved, and unsharpened , designed for display in parades and ceremonies, not for combat. Its groove runs approximately 54 cm along its surface, giving it elegance and visual fluidity. The 1 mm blunt edge and continuous screw-in tang ensure robustness without compromising its decorative purpose.

The Lion Who Guards the Command

The pommel takes the majestic form of a lion's head , with ruby-red crystal eyes , a symbol of vigilance and strength. From its mouth emerges an ornate crossguard , whose arms end in a curved guard shaped like a feline head, all crafted in brass with fine floral reliefs. The wood-core handle is wrapped in black leather and brass wire, providing a firm grip, even as a ceremonial piece.

A Piece of Distinction with a Steel Sheath

The saber comes with a nickel-plated metal scabbard , equipped with two movable rings for fastening. Its polished finish and understated design complement the saber's noble character, perfect for display in collections, plays, exhibitions, or historical reenactments.
